Commercial Construction and Remodeling
An affordable source for commercial construction.
Roofing, remodeling and general contracting for business property in Lake Charles, thirty years in. Michael comes out and quotes the job himself, same as he does on a house.
Chapter 01
What Sade takes on commercially
Roofing, remodeling and general contracting work make up the commercial side of the business, alongside the residential new-build and remodel work the company has run for thirty years. It's their own strapline, stated plainly: an affordable source for commercial construction.
That's a general contractor's answer, not a specialist's. A business owner with a leaking roof, a storefront that needs remodeling and a general contracting punch list does not need three separate companies for those three jobs.

Keeping a business open while you work on it
Sequencing and access are the real constraint on a commercial job, more than on a house. A retail storefront or an office still has customers walking past it, or through it, while the work is underway. That's a conversation to have with the office up front, not something to assume either way.
Ask about phasing, working hours around the business's own hours, and what access the crew needs to the property, before the quote is final. Michael walks the job in person, so those questions get answered on the visit rather than guessed at from a plan set.
Chapter 03
Thirty years, licensed, bonded and insured
Fully licensed, bonded and insured. That line is stated on every job the company takes, commercial included. Ask the office for current certificates before work starts and they will provide them.
Thirty years in Southwest Louisiana means the crew has already worked through the storm seasons and the insurance seasons that come with owning commercial property here.
